Fave of the Week: Carolina Benoit

It's been awhile since I've posted a fave (shame on me!), but I'm back on track! Today, I came across a fabulous women's clothing shop during one of my romps on Etsy.

Carolina Benoit is a Parsons grad, living and working in sizzling Miami. She designs and produces her collection in her studio/boutique, and carries the work of up and coming designers. Carolina has a knack for marrying feminine and edgy that garners instant fashion lust. And her well-placed punches of color give a nod to her home city. A perfect example: This lovely silk tulle bolero paired with a sassy purple sequined pencil skirt.
This ivory French lace blouse with rich red silk trim is both girly and bold. Perfect for a dressy skirt or your favorite pair of jeans. Can you say, "LOVE"?
Carolina's accessories are equally fun and sophisticated. One of my faves is this black sequined bow tie necklace. So simple, yet it packs a bold punch.
Now that you've had a taste, do check out Carolina Benoit's Etsy shop and her blog for the latest updates on her collection. You'll fall in love too!

Charmed Life

It's been a rainy, cool week in the Hudson Valley, and motivation has been low to do anything productive. Is it just me that wants only to curl up on the couch with a throw and some Ben & Jerry's when it's dreary out? With two kiddos, vegging is next to impossible. But, today I rallied and focused on getting some creative time in. I've been treasury-making on Etsy like a madwoman, and I've created three new key charms for my "Charmed Life" story in my shop. These charms also work well to adorn the zipper pulls on your favorite handbags. Check 'em out!

Some Serious Shoe Therapy: This Week's Fave

Happy Spring/Easter/All things cheerful!

It's been awhile since I've featured a favorite Etsy shop. I stumbled upon this week's fave during one of my late night Etsy wanderings. What drew me to Crafttastrophe's shop was this pair of delightfully bright yellow flats. I dug them so much, it inspired my latest treasury.
See what I mean? Doesn't that lemony yellow just sing of spring? Crafttastrophe creates hand painted shoes for those of us who like a healthy dose of whimsy with our style. Think flats are for quitters? Check out these diva-licious heels.
Crafttastrophe's philosophy: "Everyone deserves at least one beautiful item that no one else on Earth has". Truer words were never spoken! Visit their Etsy shop and their Facebook page for their entire collection and the skinny on special orders. Happy shopping!
